INVESTIGATE: Ellen White's Contradictions
Topic: Ellen White's Contradictory Writings and Behavior
Bible Test #2 - A Prophet's Writings Cannot Contain Falsehood:
"Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD..." Jer. 23:32
The articles below will present the following evidence regarding Ellen White:
- Her writings contain polar opposite contradictions; therefore, since both contradictory statements cannot be true, at least one must be a falsehood; thus, since her writings contain falsehoods, she failed the second test of a prophet
- Her life practices contradicted her teachings: "They tie up heavy, cumbersome loads and put them on other people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them" "for they do not practice what they preach." (Matt. 23:5,4 NIV)
In Ellen White's own words:
"God never contradicts Himself." (Selected Messages, Book 1, p. 161)
